a family and wedding photographer in Richmond, Virginia. I deliver bright, joyful, and authentic images in a documentary style through a fun and genuine photography experience!
When I’m not taking photos, I love curling up for a good true crime documentary, obsessing over my dog, laughing at TikToks, and enjoying a good puzzle!
I moved here from Connecticut when I was 4, and I definitely consider myself a Richmond native! I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, but started really getting serious when I photographed my first wedding in high school. I started my college journey at VCU, and later graduated from SNHU with a degree in Psychology! I originally started this business as a way to help pay for college with my hobby, and it’s blossomed into a full time passion that I’m so thankful for!
If you’re looking for a fun wedding photographer with a bright and joyful style, I’d love to chat!
No matter what life throws our way, I can handle it all with a smile and make sure you don’t feel the stress!
Rain on your wedding day? No need to worry, you won't be able to tell from the photos!
So we avoid stress and confusion on your big day! And we make sure all those family portrait combinations are captured!
Don’t know what to wear for your engagement session? Don’t worry! I have plenty of tips for putting together outfits, and am happy to look through photos to help you decide!
I love seeing when you say, “yes,” to the dress, are excited about another vendor you booked, or accomplish something amazing!
Pinterest styled photos to swoon over are amazing, but so are elegant black and whites of a sweet hug with Grandma or the flower girl gazing at you in your wedding dress!
To be honest, I can't just pick one color! I started dying my hair back in high school, and it's been red, blue, green, and everything in between ever since!
The color to start it all was a bright, fire-hydrant red, which was partially inspired by Paramore. It may be a guilty pleasure to some, but Pop Punk music has my heart and soul. Nothing makes me want to get up and dance more than those early 2000's classics!
It all started when I moved into my first apartment with no roommates. I got pretty lonely! I ADORE Pit Bulls (especially their big heads and personalities!), but unfortunately most landlords don't agree. So of course, the next logical decision was to get a cacti. I started out with one, and I'm now turning into a crazy plant lady!
There is just something about nurturing these little guys and watching them grow that makes me smile. Every new plant gets me so excited for finding it a home and learning more about them!
If I wasn't a wedding photographer, my dream job would be working as a summer camp counselor. Honestly, it's such a fun and rewarding career! No other job lets you spend your days teaching kids how to paint while dressed as Bob Ross, hold elaborate wand sorting ceremonies, or have massive food fights.
I've loved getting to learn more about kids and what they need through my degree, and being able to implement it both at work and in photography sessions (yes, this is my secret to tackling those family formals!)
