A Summer Branch Museum Engagement Session | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Meet Megan and Josh! These two met at a friend’s wedding, and are now recently engaged! Megan was down in Texas for work for about a month, and planned a winery trip with Josh and her friends. Megan’s mother and her friends kept giving her a hard time about what she was planning to wear, and she started getting suspicious. Everyone did a great job convincing her that nothing was out of the ordinary, but she was still sure that something was up!
On the day of, they were enjoying the trip and her friend decided it was time for a few group photos. When they stood up to take a photo, Megan noticed how everyone was staring very intently at her. Then she noticed Josh take get down on one knee, and the water works began! Megan excitedly accepted Josh’s proposal, and now they are planning their wedding in April of next year!
For their engagement session, we traveled out to The Branch Museum on Monument Avenue. The Museum is absolutely stunning, with the most breathtaking windows! Thanks to a random little storm, we got to explore around the grounds inside as well. Megan and Josh did such an amazing job with their portraits, and I’m in love with their photos! Josh kept Megan grinning from ear to ear the entire session. They way they love to joke and mess with each other was too cute!
Just looking at each other would have them erupting with laughter and jokes. They are such a fun couple! Josh wanted to make sure that Megan had a blast at their session, and he was more than happy to dip or twirl Megan around no matter how many times I asked. We had such a great time, and I can’t wait for their wedding in April! Congratulations again Megan and Josh, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
