Meet Lauren and Saman! Lauren and Saman met back in 2019, through some mutual friends. After a particularly fun outing to a Lidl for some groceries, they realized just how much fun they have together! They quickly started hanging out all of the time, and fondly look back on this as their first date. They love spending time together cuddled up on the couch, binge watching shows, and going on walks with their dog, Harry!
Around their 3 year anniversary, Saman took Lauren out for a surprise. They ended up at the same Lidl where they had their first date! As they entered, Lauren was surprised to see rose petals scattered on the floors, and heart balloons everywhere. She turned to see Saman standing with a bouquet of roses, as he dropped down on one knee to propose. Lauren exclaimed, “yes!” through her happy tears, as the moment was captured by a hidden photographer that Saman had hired! They even ended up on two news stations that told their adorable story!
For their engagement session, we started out with the beautiful foliage of Byrd Park. Lauren and Saman did SUCH a great job with their outfits, and I love how they pop against the fall colors! Next, we headed over to Chimborazo Park, and I just can’t get over this park’s sunset views. After a few portraits, we met up with Lauren’s parents, Peter and Lisa. They were kind enough to help with bringing Harry along! Lauren and Saman were so excited to include Harry in their session, and he did not disappoint. Harry gave the cutest looks over and over, and definitely earned all the treats! These guys did so amazing with their portraits, and I just love all of the smiles and laughs that we got!
Congratulations again you two, and I can’t wait for your wedding in September!
