An Early Fall Wedding with Timeless Decor | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Love has a unique way of shining through even the rainiest of days, and that’s exactly what happened on Lauren and Saman’s wedding day! These two finally tied the knot during their touching ceremony last Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Despite the rain, guests couldn’t wait to gather and celebrate with Lauren and Saman at their Hermitage Country Club wedding reception!
The day began with anticipation and excitement, as Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at her childhood home. As Lauren’s mother, Lisa, and her sister, Kelly, helped her into her dress, the day became increasingly real! After an emotional reveal, Lauren’s bridesmaids teared up with the same realization. Lauren’s smile beamed as her father, Peter, was overwhelmed with pride during their first look. After a sweet hug and a few laughs, it was time for the Limo to take them to the ceremony.
Guests shared hugs and greetings as they took their seats, and eagerly waited for the ceremony to begin. Soon, the soothing notes of music rang through the air as Saman began walking to the altar. Saman grinned from ear to ear as Lauren and Peter emerged, and made their way to him! Throughout their ceremony, their smiles never left their faces. Their officiant shared wise words of wisdom, as he led them through exchanging their vows and rings. Finally, Lauren and Saman were announced Mr. and Mrs. Aghaebrahim!
The celebrations continued with a cocktail hour at the timeless Hermitage Country Club.
Guests enjoyed the signature cocktails in honor of the couple’s dog, Harry, and signing their puzzle piece guestbook! Lauren and Saman entered their reception to a round of applause, and traditional Persian music and dance moves. Then they shared their first dance together to “Sunday Morning,” by Maroon Five.
After a delicious dinner, it was time for the toasts! Peter and Lisa thanked guests for attending, followed by tearful speeches from the MOH, Kelly, and Best Man, Ali. Lauren’s younger brother, Michael, welcomed Saman to the family, and expressed how excited he was to have a brother-in-law! After a round of applause, Lauren and Peter, and Saman and Maryam, shared parent dances before open dancing for the night began. Guests had a blast dancing to the songs of, “The Significant Others,” who kept the dance floor going all night! Finally, it was time for the exit. The night culminated in a stunning dried flower petal exit, before Lauren and Saman left for the night!
Congratulations again you two, and I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
