Meet Hailey & Sam! These two originally met through mutual friends while they were attending different colleges. They love getting to spend time together going hiking, exploring breweries, sitting in the sun or exploring where they live in Washington DC! Back in June, Sam planned a hike on a particular mountain that they love. At the top of the mountain, he surprised Hailey with a ring! After an ecstatic, “Yes!” Hailey was also surprised to see one of her close friends taking photos of the proposal, and was later surprised with her whole family coming to celebrate!
For their engagement session, we decided on the spacious grounds of Rural Plains. Hailey & Sam drove down from their home in DC and made a day out of the trip, visiting Sam’s nearby family as well! Their adorable black lab, Cooper, also came along for a few photos. Hailey adopted Cooper 7 years ago, and he’s been with her all the way through her Veterinary school journey!
It’s been months since our Zoom call, and I was so excited to get to meet these two in person! Hailey and Sam were all smiles, and I had such a great time getting to know them better while exploring the area. They are so fun and laid back, and so incredibly patient with Cooper! They even taught him an adorable trick to perk his ears for the camera 🙂 I just can’t get over how these two look at each other, and the gorgeous smile that Sam keeps on Hailey’s face! Congratulations again you two, and I can’t wait for your wedding in September!
