Liz and Jon | Cousiac Manor Fall Wedding
Liz and Jon’s Cousiac Manor wedding was absolutely stunning! It was so nice getting to meet Liz’s mom and her bridesmaids while they were getting ready, and getting to meet her amazing hair and makeup team.
I was so happy when Liz reached out to me about photographing their wedding, and I was even more happy when I heard about how Jon proposed! The story is a classic, and you just can’t help but laugh about it! Of course, laughter seems to be a staple of their relationship. Jon intentionally left the house a mess, hounded Liz as soon as she got home, with the goal to make her super frustrated. He figured that if she said yes even though she was super mad at him, then she must mean it. And she did!! What started as a great friendship, has blossomed into a beautiful relationship.
I’ve seen a lot of ceremonies, but I think that this one had to be my favorite! Liz and Jon managed to incorporate their fun loving nature in their ceremony. It was one of the funniest and most entertaining ceremonies I’ve witnessed, but even though everyone was laughing, you could clearly tell how deeply Jon and Liz love each other. Laughter was shared at the many poems read about love being like a dog, vows promising to be patient even when it may not be deserved, and Jon swearing that he didn’t leave his vows at home. (He did!) It was a beautiful testament to the fun that these two will share with each other, and the smiles that they keep on each other’s faces.
