This has just been a wonderful week of photo sessions with friends and family, and I’m so excited to get to introduce Hana and Kevin to the Kailey Brianne Photography family! Hana is actually my stepmother’s younger sister, so I’ve known her for a long time. Hana and Kevin met on eHarmony, and 5 years later, they have an adorable home in Williamsburg that they share with their pups. Along with their shared love of dogs, these two adventurers love spending time together at national parks and other natural wonders! They hope to eventually be able to visit all of the US National Parks, and so far have managed to visit 6 or 7. After years of laughter, and planning a stunning jeep tour, Kevin finally popped the question atop a mountain in Zion National Park!
Needless to say, our family is SO excited for them!! I was elated when Hana reached out to me about photographing their wedding, and I’m so excited to hear about all of their plans. My step mother, Hali, is just as excited to get to help plan all of the little details, and between the two of us, I’d definitely say Hana and Kevin have a whole little team behind them ready to help make their dream plans come true! With the fall colors quickly receding into winter, we couldn’t wait to get started with their engagement session! Celebrating all of their wonderful trips and adventures together, we journeyed over to one of the many pull-offs they enjoyed on the James River for their session. It’s always so much getting to photograph your friends and people you know, especially when you get to laugh and joke together! Kevin is king at bringing out Hana’s gorgeous smile, and I just couldn’t get enough of their interactions together. After enjoying the fall colors and river sand, we hopped back over to their home for the rest of their little family. Hana and Kevin rescued both Charlie and Lola, and have also helped to foster a few others! Our family has always had a strong passion for dogs, and it’s a love that Hana and Kevin continue to share together. Being a part of the family, it was only fitting to include Charlie and Lola in their engagement session! Photos with doggos can always be entertaining, and we definitely laughed along while trying to coral them and get their attention at the same time. Charlie and Lola did so great, and clearly couldn’t be happier getting to hang out and relax alongside Hana and Kevin.
Congratulations again you two! I’m so glad that you guys have found each other, and I just can’t wait for July!!
