It was such a beautiful day as I was pulling up to the Grace Estate Winery, and I was so excited to see Heather and Orion again! All of their amazing vendors were busy setting up for their big day, and they had the venue looking like something out of a fairy tale. Heather and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready, and they all looked stunning in their matching floral robes!
I couldn’t get over the beautiful bridesmaid dresses, which were so unique. They were all different shades of purple, and different designs, but all made out of the same flowing fabric that made for gorgeous photos. Heather’s dress felt like it was right out of a story book. The flowing amounts of tulle, the intricate lacing, and the light flush of pink in the under lining were just breathtaking. As you can guess, it took so much effort for everyone to not start crying when she finally put on her dress! It was so nice to see her bridesmaids and her mom looking on with such pride and love, and so much happiness for the ceremony ahead.
Set on the rolling fields of the estate, the ceremony overlooked the gorgeous mountain and valley view. The guest were seated, and Orion and his groomsmen started their walk to the front of the ceremony. The bridesmaids trickled in, and then Heather emerged walking down with her father. Orion could barely contain his excited! He looked in awe at Heather, eagerly waiting for her to stand with him. After a few stories and words of wisdom and love, they finally shared their first kiss as husband and wife! Everyone cheered in excitement, and were just so happy for them for embarking on a new journey together!
After all of the family formals, bridal party portraits, and some wonderful “just married” portraits, it was time for the reception to begin! I was absolutely blown away by how Heather planned the reception. The pale blue table covers, vibrancy of the table runner greenery, and shimmering gold accents of chairs and silverware made for a beautifully styled reception. The setting sun and the light shining amongst the mountain line background of their reception was just the cherry on top of a beautiful space. Entering with such laughter and care free poses, the bridal party got the party started immediately!
Heather and Orion stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance, and of course, this is when I started to cry. I just love first dances, for so many reasons! It’s the first time they finally get to share an intimate moment, without anyone checking in about time, details, or snippets about the day. They share this moment with their family and friends all looking on lovingly, all filled with happiness for the love that they have found for one another. I’m just so happy for these two, and their bursting love and respect for one another.
After the delicious dinner, some thoughtful toasts, and cake cutting, the party on the dance floor began! And let me tell you, this was definitely a party! Everyone was dancing and having such a great time, singing along to songs and enjoying each other’s company. This group of people can DANCE, let me tell you! Everyone was busting a move, especially Heather’s dad! He showed off his impressive dance moves, and got the whole room laughing and having a good time. I had so much fun getting to know Heather and Orion’s friends and family, witnessing them taking the big step into joining their lives together, and celebrating with everyone at the reception! Congratulations again Heather and Orion, and I hope that you are enjoying your first few days as husband and wife!
