Gabe and Caitlynn | Joyful Richmond Elopement Ceremony
Amidst all of the craziness going on in the world, it was so nice to get together back in April to celebrate Gabe and Caitlynn’s small wedding ceremony! Though their full celebrations had to be postponed to October, that didn’t stop the quiet gathering of a few family members at Hanover Courthouse Park for their official ceremony on their original date. The rainclouds couldn’t stop us either!
I’ve known these two personally for a long time, and I’ve been touched to be entrusted with their wedding photography! When they let me know that they were still putting together a little ceremony on their date, I was so happy to be able to photograph that too. There was just something about the small gathering that really reminded me of how love conquers all, and how strongly I hold that to be true. Although there were just a few family members in attendance, FaceTime of course helped to share the celebration with friends! Seeing them finally being able to say, “I do,” was so touching. I normally don’t tear up until a first dance, but I was SO fighting back tears!
I’m happy to be able to share a little of their celebration, and can’t wait until October for the real deal! Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Delgado 🙂
