Congratulations to Sarah and Ethan, who tied the knot last weekend at their Lewis Ginter wedding! Their day was absolutely spectacular, with colorful details that sparked so much joy. Their guests traveled from 4 states and 4 countries to celebrate with them, and everyone was just so excited to get to celebrate these two!

As the wedding party excitedly prepared for the big day, they shared laughter and inside jokes as they ensured every detail was perfect. Sarah’s mother, Deb, helped Sarah inter her dress, and placed her embroidered veil. As her bridesmaids took in her final look, they couldn’t help but tear up with joy for their friend! Then, it was time for Sarah to meet Ethan in the gardens for their first look. Ethan stood in nervous excitement, as Sarah tapped him on the shoulder. The whole world seemed to melt away from them, as he turned around and they took each other in with hugs and twirls! They laughed and giggled through portraits with their wedding party, before it was finally time for the ceremony.

As guests eagerly awaited for the groomsmen to begin walking down the aisle, they were met with a surprise! Ethan began walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of, “Never Gonna Give You Up,” By Rick Astley that brought a chorus of laughter. After a few more giggles brought on by the adorable flower girl, Cece, the music began to change. As the violin and cello rang out the sweet tunes of, ”Enchanted,” by Taylor Swift, Sarah walked down the aisle with her parents.

Sarah’s father, Eric, began the ceremony with excerpts of The Art of Marriage by Wilfred Arlan Peterson. Throughout their vows, Sarah and Ethan just couldn’t stop looking at each other! Sarah vowed to treat Ethan with the same kindness he shows others, and ended with, “I can’t wait to walk through life hand in hand together.” Ethan then promised “to never stop trying to do my best as your partner. Always be there for you. Wherever you walk, I’ll follow you, whenever you feel down, I’ll lift you back up.” They exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife to heartfelt cheers from their family and friends!

Kicking off their reception, Sarah and Ethan shared their first dance to, “Beyond,” by Leon Bridges. They then invited everyone out on the dance floor for a few songs with loved ones before dinner was served! After dinner, Shelby, Amy, and Nick gave toasts that spoke of how well Sarah and Ethan support each other, and how hard they work to make the people around them comfortable and happy. Soon, the music began, and guests spent the rest of the night having a blast on the dancefloor!
