Not really, I don’t have kids, but I have camera equipment that may as well be my babies! I was so blessed this Christmas, and got so many new photography goodies. I’m just so excited and I had to share! The biggest new addition is a brand new Nikon 85mm 1.8! For those of you who don’t speak camera, it’s a really nice lens that gives you creamy, blurry backgrounds! I’m so excited to get to use it for a portrait session soon. Along with my new lens, I also got a new camera bag! For those of you who don’t know, I used to lug around an entire suitcase at weddings to hold of my equipment. Now, everything will be able to fit in this bag! It will be so much easier to carry everything around, and now I won’t have to go back and forth between my camera bag and my suitcase.
Another new addition is a new Godox Flash! I now have three of the same flashes that all have built in receivers, so I no longer have to deal with batteries and receivers. I can now just bring along my flashes with no extra equipment! The less chargers and batteries that I’m looking around for, the better.
Finally, I got a bunch of little styling goodies! These are just fun extra elements that I can bring along to add something extra to detail images. I got two spools of silk ribbon from Hey its OH So Pretty on Etsy, and I also got a blush ring box from Marcia May Designs on Etsy as well!
I’m so excited to get to start using everything! I can’t wait until the weather warms up for some more weddings and portrait sessions!
