A Spring Wedding with Vibrant Florals | Farmville Wedding Photographer
Michelle and Darren’s spring wedding at The Barn at Timber Creek was absolutely beautiful! These long-time sweethearts first met all the way back in middle school, and later became friends in high school. Their friendship soon blossomed into love in college, and they’ve been counting down the days to their wedding ever since! Michelle and Darren’s family and friends were so excited to finally get to celebrate their marriage with them!
As Michelle made her way down the aisle, tears filled Darren’s eyes as he smiled brightly at her. Their ceremony was performed by a longtime family friend, who lived next door to Darren as he grew up. She had them take a moment to pause, look out upon their guests, and, “take it all in.” The two grinned ear to ear as they met the gaze of their guests, and then they turn to share their vows. Their vows were filled with laughter and tears from all in attendance! Darren shared that he now knew they’d been together for a quarter of his life, because he in fact, did the math. He then promised to share her highs and lows, and support her through it all, and to never make her repeat herself (more than once!).
Michelle vowed to love Darren when their love is simple, and when it’s an effort. She also vowed keep laughing together until they’re old and grey, and that he’ll always be her very best friend! Placing a bottle of wine and notes to each other in a box, they began their wine box ceremony. When things become tough, they can return to their letters of love as they remember their wedding day, and enjoy their wine together. After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, Michelle and Darren were finally announced Mr. and Mrs. Nichols!
After gathering for family formals and fun bridal party photos, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner from the Fishin’ Pig. Michelle’s Dad, Clay, began the toasts by reminiscing about Michelle’s first few days of life. Even then he knew how strong she was and would continue to be! Best Man, Jared, and Maid of Honor, Kayla, both spoke of their long lasting friendships with the couple and how they know they’ll be together forever. Guests laughed and cried along with Michelle and Darren, with everyone just so happy for them! The dance floor opened up and the party began, as everyone continued to celebrate into the night!
Congratulations again Michelle and Darren, and I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
