Back in April, I had the lovely pleasure of meeting Ry and John during my Pet Mini Sessions! Ry and John had brought along their pup Lolo, who they had rescued about 6 months earlier. Lolo was so spunky, and beyond photogenic! I had such a great time with them at their session, so I was excited when Ry reached out to me in August to plan her maternity session later in the year! I always love getting to see past clients again, and getting to catch up with them. In just a few months time, so much had happened! They had gotten married, and soon found out that their little family was growing. Pretty soon, little Elle was proudly announced to the world. Elle’s personality preceded her, and she always seemed to have the technicians laughing at her ultrasounds. They would joke with Ry, and tell her about how she would have her hands full with this one! Her personality shined as bright as the yellow butterflies that would follow Ry around as she grew.
On September 11th, Ryan and John met Elle. There doesn’t seem to be an answer to why she left so soon, but she was strong and radiant through every moment of her life. This spunky little girl had managed to bring incredible amounts of joy to so many others, in such a short time. They were so grateful for the time they had with her, and wanted to celebrate the joy of Elle with their very first family photo session. I was touched to be able to help tell Elle’s story, and to get to know her wonderful parents better. Ry and John have stayed so strong, with the loving support of each other and their family and friends. Elle is so endlessly loved, and she’s the beginning of a beautiful family! I had so much fun with Ry and John at their session at Bandit’s Ridge, and seeing their love for each other in their eyes. They are just so sweet to each other, and John really knows how to bring out Ry’s beautiful smile! I’m so thankful that they trusted me with their first family session, and for sharing Elle’s story with me. Ry and John, I wish you two the best as you continue growing both together, and as a family. I hope to get to see your family grow through our photo sessions!
