HEY! I'M

A Colorful Barn At Timber Creek Wedding | Alison & Alex

A spring wedding with colorful details and alternative twists | Farmville Wedding Photographer

Alex and Allison’s spring wedding at the Barn at Timber Creek was full of fun and unique touches! This fun-loving couple was so excited to showcase their love of live music, quality time, and great food. Above all, they were so excited to be surrounded by their family friends, and to all get to celebrate together! Alison and her bridesmaids, as well as Alex and his groomsmen, were all laughs while getting ready. You could really tell they each chose the right people to support them on their big day!

When the doors opened and Alex finally saw his bride coming towards him, he was in awe! They had been waiting for this moment for so long. Alison and Alex actually held a ceremony back in August, so that their beloved grandparents could all be present. Today, their grandparents were with them in loving memory throughout every moment. Family is so important to these two, and it’s so evident how each and every loved one has helped to shape their relationship! As they held each other’s hands, they began to share their personal vows.

Alex noted Alison’s selflessness, as well as her love of animals. He promised to always slow down in the car so that she could talk to the dogs in the next car over, and promised to learn and grow to be the man she deserves. Alison promised to always encourage Alex’s dreams, and quoted a letter Johnny Cash wrote to his wife. She said, “You influence me for the better. You are the object of my desire, the #1 Earthly reason for my existence,” and added, “I love you today, tomorrow, and for always.” Alison and Alex were finally pronounced husband and wife, to a crowd full of applause and cheers as they sealed their vows with a kiss!

After a whirlwind of fun portraits on the stunning grounds of the Barn at Timber Creek, it was time for their reception! Guests enjoyed spending time together on the patio, playing cornhole on the lawn, and cozying up by the firepit as the band, The Ill Billys, kept the party going with songs from a variety of genres from Johnny Cash to Prince. They celebrated with a toast from a special bottle of Dom Perignon that Alex’s grandparents had been saving, and their cake was completed with Alison’s grandparent’s cake topper from their wedding in 1957. Their gourmet grilled cheese bar, the Grateful Grill, provided the most delicious dinner! Guests also enjoyed the signature drinks named after the couple’s beloved dogs, Zephyr and Maggie. The night was full of laughter and fun, and twirling under the twinkle lights hanging in the forest!
It was truly a day filled with fun and laughter, and an immense appreciation for each and every one of their family and friends. Congratulations again you two, and I’m so stinkin’ happy for you!
