Meet Savannah and Matthew! These two first met through Bumble, and have been crazy about each other ever since 🙂 They’ve spent the last 4 years enjoying all the laughter life has to offer, in between their busy school and work schedules. They love caring for their adorably stubborn Husky, and putting together some fantastic couple’s Halloween costumes! Back in May, Matt surprised Savannah with a hike on Skyline drive. Savannah laughs that it was quite a hard hike! It was well worth the walk when Matt got down on one knee to propose. Savannah said, “yes!” and they got to spend the rest of the day celebrating at the nearby Blue Mountain Brewery!
I’ve been so excited for their session, and to get to meet Matt! I actually know Savannah from high school, and it was fun realizing I’ve photographed some mutual friends’ weddings! For their engagement session, Savannah and Matt fell in love with the mountainous views of King Family Vineyards. They planned a fun day of wine tasting before their session (making friends with the winery’s cat, Frank!), and an Air B&B to enjoy for the night! Of course, a typical fall storm rolled in out of nowhere and threatened to derail the day a bit. Thankfully, the clouds held off and even started to clear a little just for their session!
The overcast weather brought some vibrant pop to their already wonderfully coordinated colors, and I just can’t get over their portraits! We had a blast exploring the grounds, and trying to get a few horses to come say hi. Savannah and Matt are such a fun couple, and I loved watching them joke around together! Matt had us both cracking up with some of his fun expressions, of course bringing out Savannah’s stunning smile 🙂 I’m so excited for their June wedding, and all of the fun things they are planning for their family and friends!
