After Marlea and Matt’s engagement session at Maymont, it is officially my new FAVORITE fall location! I just can’t get over all of the stunning fall views from their session! Marlea and Matt styled their outfits wonderfully, and her burgundy dress pops so well against the yellow leaves. These two made a fantastic choice opting for a fall Maymont engagement session! I had such a great time getting to know them better as we explored the ground. Marlea works as a Kindergarten teacher, and actually laughed that she just had picture day with the school that day as well!
Marlea and Matt met on one fateful day in January of 2019 at Jack Brown’s Beet and Burger Joint. After quickly falling for each other, they’ve been together since! They love spending their time exploring different wineries and breweries, and going to see live music. They both have a wide range of music tastes, but can definitely agree that Carbon Leaf is a favorite they share! They love getting to adventure and see new places together, and back in August, they were on vacation in Sint Maarten. Sitting down at breakfast, Marlea commented on how beautiful the view was. Matt said, “I hope this will make it better,” and Marlea looked down to see the engagement ring! He caught her completely by surprise, and she ecstatically said, “YES!”
They are now planning their March wedding right after their favorite holiday, St. Patrick’s day! They’ve also planned a timely honeymoon to Ireland, which they are SO excited for! Congratulations again you two, and I hope you enjoy your epic fall sneak peek 🙂
