Midlothian Wedding with Fall Colors | Virginia Wedding Photographer
Genna and Taylor finally tied the knot in front of their friends and family at their Midlothian wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church. After meeting in high school, these two sweethearts have been together for over 11 years! These two have so many friends and family that helped to shape their relationship, and they’ve been so excited to plan a fun day to celebrate!
Genna’s mother, Janine, and her Grandmother, Jenny, couldn’t hold back the tears as they helped her into her dress! The morning was a rush of portraits with their AMAZING bridal party and family members. The bridal party’s colors were styled so well, and mixed with the beautiful fall colors! Taylor and his groomsmen had fun showing off their stunning ties and suspenders, along with their colorful boutonnières. Genna’s florist worked MAGIC with their florals! They even had special orange orchids shipped in that gave a finishing touch to Genna’s bridal bouquet. Soon, it was time to leave for the ceremony!
As guests filled the aisles and the music began, Taylor and his groomsmen took their places. The church doors finally opened to Genna and her father, George, walking the aisle. Taylor grinned ear to ear at the sight of his bride, and guests couldn’t help but cry and giggle at the heartwarming sight! Father Michael Duffy and Deacon Al lead them through a beautiful ceremony, highlighted by stories and memories of the couple over the many years they’ve been together. Giggling with excitement as they exchanged rings, they stared into each others eyes. Finally, Genna and Taylor were joined as one and announced Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong!
Their reception was a blast with so much dancing, heartfelt toasts, and fun details! Genna and Taylor twirled into their reception to, “Love You Like I Used To,” by Russell Dickerson for their first dance. They had guests cheering with all of their well coordinated moves! After some touching parent dances and toasts, it was time for guests to enjoy the delicious deserts. From cannolis, donuts, and delicious late night pretzels, guests couldn’t get enough of the yummy treats! They had plenty of fuel for a night FULL of dancing, and belting out every lyric. They ended the night with a super fun glow stick exit, with all of their guests screaming and cheering in celebration! Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong, and I’m so excited for you two on your new journey as husband and wife!!
