This was SUCH a fantastic way to start off the year with my first engagement session of 2022! I’ve been so excited for Julie and Jim’s engagement session, and the unusually warm weather around here helped to make for a spring-like session in the middle of February! For their session, we decided that the sprawling grounds of Maymont would be the perfect location. It certainly didn’t disappoint, and gave us some gorgeous lighting!
These two love birds met for the first time at work! Julie was a new hire, and Jim helped to show her the ropes. They became quick friends, and decided to go out for drinks one night after work! Now, they both love their engineering jobs at VDOT, and love getting to have plenty of adventures together! These goofballs love spending quality time with their family and friends, along with eating plenty of great food and exploring new places together. Jim finally proposed before Thanksgiving of last year, and Julie of course said, “YES!!!” They are now planning their September wedding together, and just couldn’t be more excited!
For their engagement session, they also wanted to highlight their little one, Luke! Jim’s mom, Ruthie, was kind enough to tag along and help watch over him during him their session. He was honestly SO excited to be able to take some photos, and it was super adorable! I mean, just look at that smile 🙂 We all had so much fun getting to hangout, and Julie and Jim were just full of smiles! Their laughter is absolutely contagious, and completely embodies the way they love to live life together 🙂
