A Summer Richmond Wedding with Modern Twists | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Logan and Kali celebrated their marriage on a beautiful June day at the iconic Richmond Main Street Station! Surrounded by family and friends, everyone was so excited to help them celebrate! Logan and his groomsmen got ready at their home in Richmond, while Kali and her bridesmaids got ready in a Richmond Air B&B. After a fun morning of getting ready, it was finally time for Kali’s mom, Lois, to help her into her dress. Kali shared a fun reveal with her bridesmaids, and then it was time to hide away at Main Street Station!
Guests watched in excitement as the grand doors opened, and Lois started walking Kali down the aisle. Logan grinned ear to ear at the sight of his bride! As he shared his vows, he spoke of how nervous he’s been leading up to their wedding day. He said that everything was worth it, because, “the most exciting part about today is that I get to spend the rest of my life with you.” Kali began her vows by explaining how Logan has shown her love, patience, and communication in their almost 4 years together. As family and friends teared up, she shared some of the last advice she received from her father before he passed. He had told her that as long as who she ended up with treated her well, that’s all that mattered. Kali tearfully expressed that she’s sure he’d be so happy that she’s marrying Logan! They exchanged their rings, and shared their first kiss as husband and wife to the cheers and applause of their friends and family. They were finally announced Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
After some fun wedding party portraits, and a few just married portraits, it was time for the reception to begin! Their wedding party got the party started with their hilarious entrances, including some custom tees from the Best Man, Brian, and Maid of Honor, Lauren. Kali and Logan entered to a round of applause, and shared their first dance to, “Movement,” by Hozier. After a delicious dinner, it was time for the toasts! Brian and Lauren shared a few hilarious stories from Kali and Logan’s past, and wished them absolute best in their beautiful marriage. Throughout the night, friends and family enjoyed dancing, hanging out on the balcony overlooking the city, and enjoying a variety of delicious pies from Deep Run Roadhouse. Everyone was invited to sign the guest book with portraits from Kali and Logan’s engagement session, as well as add polaroid photos complete with a few photo props featuring Logan and Kali’s faces!
At sunset, they headed outside to the iconic steps of Main Street Station for an unbelievable smoke bomb exit! Their group did such a great job getting organized for this, and I have to give a special thanks to their planner, Abby, for helping to set off all of the smoke bombs! I’m so in love their exit idea, and it was such a FUN ending to a fantastic day! Congratulations again Kali & Logan, and I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
