A Spring Barn at Timber Creek Wedding | Michelle & Darren

A Spring Wedding with Vibrant Florals | Farmville Wedding Photographer

Michelle and Darren’s spring wedding at The Barn at Timber Creek was absolutely beautiful! These long-time sweethearts first met all the way back in middle school, and later became friends in high school. Their friendship soon blossomed into love in college, and they’ve been counting down the days to their wedding ever since! Michelle and Darren’s family and friends were so excited to finally get to celebrate their marriage with them!

As Michelle made her way down the aisle, and Darren laid eyes on his bride for the first time, tears filled his eyes as he smiled brightly at her. Their ceremony was performed by a longtime friend of the family, having lived next door to Darren as he grew up. She had them take a moment to pause, look out upon their guests and take it all in. Their vows were filled with laughter and tears from all in attendance. Darren shared that he now knew they’d been together for a quarter of his life, because he in fact, did the math. He then promised to share her highs and lows, and support her through it all, and to never make her repeat herself (more than once!).

She vowed to love him when their love is simple, and when it’s an effort, as well as to keep laughing together until they’re old and grey, and that he’ll always be her very best friend. Together, they performed a wine box ceremony, locking up a bottle along with notes to each other to return to one day, when things are tough to remind them of how they felt on their wedding day. After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, Michelle and Darren were finally announced Mr. and Mrs. Nichols!
After gathering for family formals and fun bridal party photos, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner from the Fishin’ Pig. Michelle’s Dad, Clay, began the toasts by reminiscing about Michelle’s first few days of life, and how he knew even then how strong she was and would continue to be. Best Man, Jared, and Maid of Honor, Kayla, both spoke of their long lasting friendships with the couple and how they know they’ll be together forever. Guests laughed and cried along with Michelle and Darren, with everyone just so happy for them! The dance floor opened up and the party began, as everyone continued to celebrate into the night!

Congratulations again Michelle and Darren, and I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
