Jen and Steven tied the knot this past weekend at their spring Oakdale wedding! The entire day was just beautiful, and absolutely nothing could stop these two from declaring their love for one another. Date changes, venue changes, and even calls for thunderstorms couldn’t wipe the smiles from their faces! When I arrived, everyone was so relaxed and excited for the day. Jen and her bridesmaids looked amazing in their matching getting ready outfits, and the reception space looked like it should be in a magazine! The sun was kind enough to shine through most of the day, giving us the most beautiful light for all of our pre-ceremony portraits. After a fun and tear jerking bridal gown reveal to her mother and bridesmaids, Jen was ready to join Steven for their first look!

See Their Engagement Session

As Jen tapped Steven on the shoulder, he turned around to take in his bride. Tears flowed as they embraced, laughed, and shared their vows to each other. The scene was so touching! After a few minutes of gorgeous portraits, Jen and Steven were joined by their bridal party for some fun group photos. Their friends were so much fun, and kept the laughter going as they took their places for the ceremony to begin. With the sun retreating, the procession began. As Jen walked down the aisle with her mother, Millie, and her stepfather, Mario, Steven couldn’t help but tear up again at the sight of his beautiful bride. After lighting the unity candles, Jen’s parents took their seat as Jen and Steven joined hands. Their officiant began the ceremony thanking everyone for being there today, and was soon interrupted by the weather!

After a quick trip inside to avoid the rain, their ceremony continued with brimming smiles. Jen and Steven couldn’t take their eyes off of each other! After joining the unity candles, and saying, “I do,” Jen and Steven were finally announced as Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez!

The reception began with a beautiful first dance to, “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” followed by sweet speeches from the Best Man, Corbin, and Maid of Honor, Taylor. After sharing sweet moments during their parent dances, Jen and Steven were ready to celebrate the night away with their amazing friends and family! Their reception was full of dancing and good times, with some of the most amazing people who were just so happy for them!

Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez, and I hope you’ve enjoyed the first few days of being newlyweds!
