Meet Kacey and Daniel! These two originally met in college, during one of their many practices for marching band. Connecting over their shared passions, their friendship quickly turned into a beautiful relationship! They love getting to spend quality time together playing board games, eating at Proper Pie, and cuddling with Kacey’s adorable calico cat, Patches.
Fast forward to December 21, 2022, the day that marked a significant turning point in their lives. On that crisp winter day, Kacey and Daniel were enjoying the city views of Libby Hill Park. Suddenly, Daniel dropped to one knee, his heart pounding with excitement and nervousness. He presented Kacey with a ring, and with tears of joy, she said, “Yes!” Now, they are planning their Summer wedding at Copper Hall!
For their engagement session, we decided to meet at the charming haven of Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. It was so much fun getting to explore the serene garden grounds, and getting to learn more about Kacey and Daniel! They shared how Patches isn’t usually keen to meet strangers, but that she had warmed up to Daniel very quickly. She knew there was something very special about Daniel when she saw all of the love and care that he spoiled Patches with.
Watching these two laugh and stroll through the gardens together was so heartwarming. Kacey and Daniel are so much fun, and find so much joy in each other! They are truly each other’s person, and I just can’t wait until their wedding day in June.
