I knew I was going to be crazy, but to be honest, I expected dogs. Of course, my apartment with no yard kind of made that hard. I couldn’t get a dog, so I got a cacti! 5 months later, I have about 10 plants, and I only want more! I don’t know what it is about watching them grow, but I get so excited every time I notice my cacti’s little arms growing, or my succulents slowly outgrowing their pots. It feels nice to nurture something, and I can’t wait to see how they grow. I love getting planters almost as much as I love the plants! I love geometric shapes and how nicely they fit in the middle. It’s so satisfying! Now, I also get cacti and succulents because they are durable. Extremely durable. Like, its been two weeks and I completely even forgot I had plants oh gosh where’s the water durable. I haven’t killed anything yet and I’m so proud! I just can’t seem to keep flowers or anything else alive. A friend showed me their cacti one day, and I got so excited! I thought, “Finally!” Something I can work with!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching these little guys grow, and I highly recommend getting one of these little guys! Even if it’s just in your room or on a windowsill somewhere, they’re very low maintenance and so beautiful.
Look at it’s little arms growing!!
