Amongst all the craziness going on in the world, we have been desperately trying to get Megan and Matt’s engagement photos done before all sorts of lockdowns were put in place. Our favorite locations were closing by the day, but we weren’t going to let that stop us! (Following all CDC guidelines of course!) we met at Crump Park in the Glen Allen area for our session last weekend, and the sun finally came out of the clouds for some gorgeous weather!
Megan and Matt met one day on a beach trip with friends, and the rest is history! Not two days later, Matt asked Megan out, and they have been inseparable ever since. There is just something about couples who are the absolute best friends that just makes me so giddy, and it’s so clear with these two that that’s how they enjoy life together! Their relationship is full of laughter and being 100% themselves with each other, and it just makes me so happy for them. Matt knew that Megan was who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and he planned a little trip with their friends to the same beach that he and Megan met at to finally pop the question. Of course Megan said yes, and now we are just counting the days until their wedding in August!
With all the craziness going, I’m so glad that we were able to get together for their session! It was nice to have a little normalcy in the midst of a crazy week, along with enjoying the outdoors. I loved getting to know Matt and Megan a little bit more, and seeing how Matt looks at Megan! They adore each other! Congratulations again Megan and Matt, and I hope that this sneak peak can add a little bit of positivity to your week!
