Sarah and Jeremy| Downtown Richmond Engagement
Sarah and Jeremy’s Edgar Allen Poe Museum engagement session in downtown Richmond was so much fun! These two first met out at Lake Gaston. Sarah was originally friends with Jeremy’s sister through college, and the next summer they all enjoyed a trip out to their family’s houses on the Lake. Sarah and Jeremy hit it off, and later started dating! Not only is the lake where they first met, they are going to get MARRIED at Lake Gaston as well! They’re so excited to get married where it all began, along with just how much they love the beauty of the area. With their families having homes at the lake, it makes for an easy way to get the whole family together, at a place where they all have fond memories! I’m so excited for them!
We started Sarah and Jeremy’s engagement session at the Edgar Allen Poe Museum, which I always love getting to visit! All of the soft greenery against the brick architecture always makes for some great photos. As we started shooting, I just couldn’t help but laugh at these two! They are so goofy together, and just mess with each other in the cutest ways. They really know how to make each other laugh, which makes for the best, most genuine smiles! I just love getting to see how couples have fun with each other, which really lets me get to know them and their relationship better.
Next we headed out for Jefferson Park! Along with the famous views of the Richmond City skyline, it also has the most beautiful fountain! We started off at the fountain, and I could barely contain my excitement over the photos we were getting. Right as we were about to go and get some photos with the skyline, it started pouring out of nowhere! We quickly ran under the little pavilion, to hopefully wait for a few minutes for the rain to stop. As soon as the rain stopped, we hopped back over to try some scissor kick shots! This is such a hard pose and photo to get, as it really is hard to do without looking a little awkward. Not to mention that it is QUITE tiring for the guy! Jeremy did such a good job, and just HELD it for almost a whole 5 minutes!
We walked over to the skyline view, which was breathtaking as always. I couldn’t contain my excitement at how beautiful the images we were getting were. Sarah’s dress looked absolutely stunning against the skyline! Sarah and Jeremy are clearly so in love, and are just so cute together. I’m so excited to deliver their sneak peek, and show some of my favorite images from their session! I just can’t wait to get to see them again for their wedding. Here are a few of my favorites from their session!
