Angel and Nick | Spring Engagement Session
Meet Nick and Angel! I haven’t seen these two since last year, and I was so excited to see them again. These high school sweethearts met in Geometry class, and have now been engaged since October! I’ve been so excited for their engagement session, and to get to know them better. I suggested Tuckahoe Plantation for their engagement session, and I’m so glad that they wanted to go to one of my favorite locations. We traveled through the fields for some beautiful light shining through the trees, and also to escape a bit of the heat! These two are so cute together, and their smiles are so infectious.
Nick and Angel brought along their pups Simba and Tassa, and Angel’s mom Tina was nice enough to come out and watch them while we took other photos! Angel is studying to be a veterinary assistant, so of course she and Nick have a heart full of love for animals! We met back up to grab them, and I about died when Angel mentioned she brought a bowtie for Simba. I don’t know why, but bowties on dogs just melts my heart!! As if Simba wasn’t cute enough, the bowtie was just the icing on the cake. These photos with their adorable dogs are just so cute!
For their outfit change, I knew we had to take a few photos in the garden! The blooms were stunning and the light was coming through the small trees in the best way. I am such a liar, and I always say, “this is the last spot!” and then find some light that we just can’t walk by! Before we walked back to their car, I had to stop them under this one tree with beautiful golden light shining through it. I’m so glad that we stopped there, as they might be some of my favorites from their whole session! Nick did such an amazing job bringing out Angel’s beautiful smile for these, and I just loved everything about their interactions together!
I had such a blast with these two, and I can’t wait for their wedding in May next year! I will admit I’m a little disappointed that I won’t see them before then, they are such a sweet and fun couple and I really enjoyed my time with them! Here are a few of my favorites from our session that I’m just dying to share!
