A Spring Engagement Session at Historic Tuckahoe | Richmond Engagement Photographer
Meet Nick and Angel! I haven’t seen these two since last year, and I was so excited to see them again. These high school sweethearts met in Geometry class, and have been engaged since October! I’ve been so excited for their engagement session at Historic Tuckahoe, and to get to know them better. These two are so cute together, and their smiles are so infectious! We had a blast exploring the fields on the property.
After Nick and Angel had warmed up to the camera, we met up with Angel’s mom in the parking lot! Tina was kind enough to sit with their dogs, Simba and Tassa, until we were ready for them. Angel is studying to be a veterinary assistant, so of course she had to include them in their sessions! Once I saw Simba, I gasped at his adorable bow tie. I don’t know why, but bowties on dogs just melts my heart!!
For their outfit change, I knew we had to take a few photos in the garden! The blooms were stunning, and the light was coming through the small trees in the best way. I am such a liar, and I always say, “this is the last spot!” and then find some light that we just can’t walk by! Before we walked back to their car, I had to stop them under this one tree with beautiful golden light shining through it. I’m so glad that we stopped there, as they might be some of my favorites from their whole session! Nick did such an amazing job bringing out Angel’s beautiful smile for these, and I just loved everything about their interactions together!
I had such a blast with these two, and I can’t wait for their wedding in May next year! I will admit I’m a little disappointed that I won’t see them before then, they are such a sweet and fun couple and I really enjoyed my time with them! Here are a few of my favorites from our session that I’m just dying to share!
