Elegant Intimate Wedding Ceremony | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Hana and Kevin’s intimate wedding ceremony at King Family Vineyards was absolutely stunning! Hana and Kevin had originally planned a large wedding in Tennessee to accommodate all of their family from different states. Of course, Covid had to throw a wrench in those plans. With rising case counts in many states, travel became nearly impossible. Determined to sill have their ceremony, Hana and Kevin quickly got to work and planned their intimate wedding in Virginia! Spending their free time adventuring together at national parks and other natural wonders, it made sense that they chose a venue with such mountainous views!
The Sunday after their original wedding date, we met at the King Family Vineyards to celebrate Hana and Kevin’s union! The view was stunning, and we were thankful for each and every cloud in the sky that gave a break from the shining sun! Set up beneath the trees for some shade, their ceremony had the gorgeous mountains as their backdrop. Hana and Kevin’s parents helped to get everything in order, along with holding on to their dogs, Charlie and Lola! When I saw that Hana and Kevin had brought them to participate in the ceremony, I was so excited. Better yet, Hana had made them these adorable succulent flower collars! I just love when dogs get to be a part of the wedding fun!
Hana’s Dad, Hal, began walking Hana down the aisle, and their sweet little ceremony began. A few tears were shed, and laughs were shared. Everyone was grateful to be able to present to celebrate Hana and Kevin’s love! Their officiant did an amazing job creating a special ceremony for them, and had them take in the gorgeous view of the day and pause for a moment in peace. Before we knew it, Hana and Kevin said, “I do,” and it was time for Kevin to kiss the bride! After over 6 years of love and laughter, Hana and Kevin were finally Mr. and Mrs. Brammeier!
We celebrated with gorgeous family portraits, and of course posing with Charlie and Lola to show off their adorable collars. We frolicked in King Family Vineyards fields for some, “just married,” portraits, and couldn’t get over the gorgeous mountain view! Beautiful views aside, Kevin and Hana looked stunning in their portraits. The way Kevin can make Hana smile just gave me goosebumps!
After all the portraits were done, everyone sat down in the shade to enjoy a little wine tasting and chat. There was a cool little refreshing breeze, which was such a nice reprieve from the sun! Cakes by Rachel put together an intricate succulent cake, that Hana and I were just swooning over. The little flowers were almost too beautiful to eat! Soon it was time to pack up and head back to the Collina Farmhouse for some tasty dinner. Harvest Moon Catering provided delicious food, and more importantly, some sustainable silverware and plates!
It was so nice getting to join them for dinner, and say hey to everyone! If you haven’t seen Hana and Kevin’s engagement session post, Hana is a part of the family! She is my step-mom’s sister, and I was beyond excited last year when she said she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. I felt so blessed to be able to join them on this day, and help them to celebrate with their intimate ceremony! Meeting Kevin’s parents, Shari and Gary, and getting to see Hana’s parents again, Hal and Lisa, was so nice!
For all the family members who are stuck up north and couldn’t travel to attend, I hope you enjoy this blog post and all of Hana and Kevin’s beautiful photos! We missed you dearly, and I hope it helps make you feel like you were there. Congratulations again Hana and Kevin, and I can’t wait for your big wedding in Tennessee next year!
