A Fall Winery Wedding | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Caclinh and Matt’s Grace Estate Winery Wedding was absolutely magical! Even with some clouds and fog, the mountain winery was absolutely stunning. No amount of rain was going to dampen Caclinh’s bright smile! Caclinh had recently taken her final dental exams, and had just found out that she aced them. I could not believe that Caclinh and Matt had been planning this wedding, balancing work, AND that she had just taken her exams! As if all of that wasn’t enough, Caclinh had hand-made many of the beautiful decorations for their day. She even made her own stunning invitations!
Caclinh’s bridesmaids were the absolute sweetest! They were jamming out and having a blast singing along to their favorite songs. They were so helpful in hanging all of their dresses for a photo, and did a beautiful job! Caclinh’s dress, by the way, was made by her mother, Nhan. Yes, you read that right! She MADE Caclinh’s gorgeous gown! Nhan also made her own wedding dress back in the day, and wanted to make one for Caclinh as well. Talk about made with love! Her love was absolutely sewn into every stitch. Everyone was in tears when Caclinh finally put her dress on. It shimmered in ways I’ve never seen a dress shine before, and Caclinh looked absolutely radiant.
Once we realized that the rain wasn’t going to stop, their planner, Lori, did an amazing job of flipping the reception space to make room for the ceremony! Guests were so excited as the bridal party took their places, and soon it was time for Caclinh to walk down the aisle with her father, Scott. Matt teared up at the sight of his bride, along with the bridesmaids and plenty of guests! They looked gleefully into each other’s eyes as their officiant gave words of love and marriage. After a beautifully sweet ceremony, Caclinh and Matt were finally announced Mr. and Mrs. Lassiter!
After plenty of family formals, fun bridal party photos, and just married portraits, it was time for the reception festivities to begin! Caclinh and Matt not only both have large families, but also have a plethora friends! Everyone wanted to share their love with toasts. Matt’s father, Rick, shared a toast and also had bouquets to pass out to a few family members as a thank you. Caclinh’s father, Scott, shared some hilarious stories of Caclinh as a child! Matt’s sisters, Robin and Sara, made sure that Matt remembered the wise advice, “happy wife, happy life!” Caclinh’s sister Lamvy, and her friend Kelsey, also shared kind words and stories as they wished Matt and Caclinh years of happiness.
After the toasts, Caclinh and Matt shared their first dance as husband and wife! Caclinh danced with her father, and Matt shared a dance with his mother, Michelle. Soon the dance floor was opened, and the party began! Everyone was dancing and celebrating, and the bridal party had a blast jamming out to, “Pretty Girl Rock,” by Keri Hilson. Towards the end of the night, they held and anniversary dance! Couples shared a sweet dance, and took a seat as the song went on depending on how long they’ve been married. The DJ called 20, 30, and 40 years, and Matt’s grandparents, Bobby and Poppy, were the last couple standing. Everyone was teary eyed and celebrated their long lasting love! Soon the night was over, and it was time for the sparkler exit. It was a great end to a fantastic day!
Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Lassiter!
