A Virginia Cliffe Inn Wedding with Fall Hues | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Jessika and Carlos finally tied the knot at their Virginia Cliffe Inn Wedding! Jessika is one of my coworkers at my day job, and I was so thrilled when she asked me about doing her wedding photography! It was definitely a fun day of hanging out with her and her bridesmaids Alex and Alex, who were also coworkers of ours. After getting ready at Jessika’s mom’s house, we all headed out to the Virginia Cliffe Inn for Jessika to get into her dress!
As we pulled up to the Virginia Cliffe Inn, we saw their get away car parked out front! Jessika and Carlos actually met thanks to this car. One of Jessika’s friends mentioned that his old manager, Carlos, had gotten a new sports car that they should go check out. Jessika went to go and see the car, and she and Carlos hit it off immediately! It blossomed into a beautiful relationship, full of laughter and plenty of time talking about their shared love of cars. Carlos popped the question in front of Jessika’s family, and they were all so excited to welcome him into the family! They had spent months getting that fateful sports car ready to use as their getaway car. They were so excited for it to be included on their wedding day.
Getting ready was a blur of laughs and tears, and there were plenty of tissues present. We had blast taking some gorgeous bridal portraits, and then had to pay a little nod to Jessika’s love fo Naruto by taking a few portraits with her Akatsuki cape! Shortly after, it was time for Jessika’s first look with her grandparents, Frances and Lawrence. They were so sweet walking up to Jessika beaming with pride, they shared so many sweet hugs! Soon, guests were arriving, and it was time to hide Jessika and get ready for the ceremony.
All eyes were on Jessika as her brother, Nathan, lead her down the aisle. Jessika has a lot of family members in her life who’ve helped her become who she is today. She wanted to include them all in her ceremony! She was handed to her step father, Monte, then her uncle, Greg, then her grandfather, Lawrence, and finally, her mother, Brooke. As Jessika made her way down the aisle, Carlos was bawling at the sight of his bride! After such a long time, they were finally getting married and he could barely hold it together! Sweet words of love were shared as they braided the strands of their unity braid, signifying the joining of them and God in their new relationship. They shared their first kiss as husband and wife, and were finally announced Mr. and Mrs. Arbaiza!
After some stunning portraits (with their getaway car of course!), it was time for their reception. Dinner was served, and a fun round of the shoe game followed! Guests laughed at the answers to their questions, especially when Jessika and Carlos disagreed or answered rather quickly. Their first dance was so sweet, and I just couldn’t get over how they looked at each other! Jessika looked beautiful as they swayed around the dance floor, and Carlos looked like he couldn’t be happier. The dance floor opened up, and there was no stopping our work-family from jamming out to the Cha Cha slide! The night ended with a stunning sparkler exit, and then Jessika and Carlos rode off in to the night in their get away car.
It was such a fun day full of love and support from their family and friends, and everyone was just SO happy for them to finally be married! Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Arbaiza!
