Dominion Club Wedding with Emerald Accents | Richmond Wedding Photographer
Gabe and Caitlynn’s fall Dominion Club wedding was like a dream come true! These two originally planned on getting married in May, but of course, Covid had other plans. They decided to still go ahead with an intimate ceremony on their original date, and save the big celebrations for later. Finally, they were able to have their ceremony and reception with friends and family present at The Dominion Club!
I met these two years ago, when we were all working at Sonic. I have been SO excited to get to photograph their wedding! Gabe and Caitlynn are such a fun couple, and absolutely thrive on laughter! Their close friends in their bridal party absolutely met that energy, and made sure they had a blast getting ready. We had worked it out so that I could get there a few hours early to join in the getting ready fun, and it was like a little Sonic reunion! Caitlynn and her bridesmaids all sported onesies while getting ready, and Gabe’s sister Carissa made sure to keep the tunes going! Gabe and his groomsmen all sported some creative socks, which they were so excited to get to show off. I had let my second photographer, Stephanie, know ahead of time that they were going to be a fun group to photograph. They definitely didn’t disappoint! Gabe and his groomsmen had a blast hamming it up for their group photos, and did such a great job.

Their ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, with the breathtaking view of the lake behind them. After the bridal party took their places, the guests all stood to see Caitlynn’s dad, Phil, walking her down the aisle. However, Caitlynn and the DJ worked out a little surprise! Expecting to hear “Chances,” by The Backstreet Boys, Gabe bust out in laughter as “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur starts playing instead. Even though they have technically been married since May, Gabe still couldn’t keep it together when he saw Caitlynn!
The tears came quickly, and his best man was ready with the tissues. Gabe shook her father’s hand, and the ceremony began. Everyone was both tearing up and laughing as Gabe and Caitlynn shared their vows with each other. These two have had such a long and beautiful relationship, and everyone was just so happy for them! Finally, they were announced Mr. and Mrs. Delgado in front of their family and friends!
Walking down the stunning stair case of The Dominion Club, they entered their reception into their first dance. I was not able to stop crying through the whole thing! After dinner and some toasts, it was time for the dance floor to open up! Being the dancers that they are, Gabe and Caitlynn had every up and dancing for a fun night. Guests laughed at all of the shenanigans of Gabe slow dancing with his groomsmen, and smiled at the sweet moments of the flower girl dancing with Caitlynn. There were quite a few cup-cake face smashes, and some very entertaining garter and bouquet tosses! They also had a photo booth that everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking hilarious photos with! Finally, they ended the night with a stunning sparkler exit. Gabe and Caitlynn were whisked away in their get away car to enjoy the rest of their night!
Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support and celebrate! Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Delgado, and I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your full wedding with your friends and family!
