It’s finally time for part two of Sandy and Kevin’s engagement session! I was so excited to get to see them again for the rest of their session, especially since their wedding is just a few weeks away! Everything is starting to fall into place, and before they know it, it’ll be the morning of their wedding day. It’s great that we got to celebrate with some photos!
The leaves are changing colors, the temperature has cooled down, and just about anything with a stinger is gone. Nothing was getting in our way today! We explored around Richmond enjoying the fall leaves and red bricks, and ended at the VMFA Pauley Center. This is actually where Kevin proposed to Sandy! He put a lot of thought into where he would do it, and finally decided on the building. Kevin even got a friend to hide with a camera for the moment! I love getting to visit places with such sentimental value. Not only are the photos beautiful, but beautiful memories are attached to them too. Standing under the columns, the building has the most stunning view down the Richmond streets, lined by over arching trees rich with color. It’s a breathtaking view that definitely encompasses the heart of Richmond! We desperately wanted a photo walking across the street with the trees in the background, and the rain that had started was not going to hold us back! We used my clear umbrellas for some adorable photos of them across the Richmond street, before it really started coming down. Sandra and Kevin braved it out and decided to ditch the umbrellas for a photo, and ended up with a stunning kiss shot! I’m so glad that we got to meet up a second time for the rest of their session. A girl needs her engagement photos! I’ve had so much fun getting to know them, and I’m so excited for their wedding. Congratulations again you two, and I can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
